What the words on your quote actually mean

Coverage: 7-year limited warranty

Every treatment comes with a written 7-year (84-month) product warranty. If treated shingles fail the standardised flexibility test within that period, replacement product is supplied on a prorated basis.

Tall oil vs. soy oil

Pine-derived tall oil closely mimics the maltenes inside asphalt, so it binds with aged bitumen and truly rejuvenates. Soy-based products soften shingles temporarily but oxidise quickly in high heat.

Understanding tall oil

Tall oil is a natural pine resin and an eco-friendly by-product of kraft paper manufacturing. Its molecular make-up resembles aged bitumen, letting it restore shingles rather than simply coat them.

Softening vs. lasting rejuvenation

Softening a shingle for one season is not the same as renewing it for close to a decade. Tall-oil rejuvenation is formulated and warranty-backed for lasting flexibility.

Safer ingredient screening

Ingredients are selected for safety around families, pets, gardens and storm-water systems — no bleach and no harsh solvents.

Soft washing

A rejuvenator works best on a clean surface. Low-pressure soft washing removes algae, fungus and dirt so the serum penetrates each shingle evenly, with no damage to the roof.

Granule loss

The protective mineral granules on a shingle shed as the asphalt dries out. Rejuvenation helps re-lock loose granules and slows further shedding.

Coverage rate

Application volume is calculated from measured roof area, which is also how pricing works: a flat per square foot price.
